Description:

Background

This is to join Customer Rewards as a Software Engineer. Customer Rewards is a product at the heart of IKEA Family.

Our product provides INGKA Retail Platform capabilities for managing Reward Programmes and enabling digital experiences to integrate Customer Rewards in their solutions.

Customer Rewards serves as a reliable way for our IKEA Family members to access and use their rewards.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist IKEA in

Craft tested, high quality code in JavaScript, SQL and Cloud infra

- Work collaboratively with other disciplines, including architecture, product, experience design, data specialists and domain experts

- Make changes in a compliant and efficient way through integration and deployment pipelines.

- Values variant testing and can implement meaningful experiments as a way of solving the right problems.

- Values system design and modelling as an important part of Software Engineering.

- Communicate clearly and effectively in written and oral form so they can share knowledge, experiences and collaborate well

- Practice continuous delivery as an essential part of the way to support continuous discovery

- Continuously learn and see mentorship and coaching as a core part of their growth

• Requirements:

Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc

Must be highly experienced and proficient in JavaScript language

- Must be highly experienced building Cloud Native systems and solutions at significant Scale. GCP is the vendor of choice at INGKA

- Worked with our Technology Stack - GCP, Serverless, Postgres, BigQuery, NodeJS, Skapa Design System (Web Components, VueJS)

- Must communicate and collaborate clearly and with impact

- Demonstrable experience taking ownership when working with a multidisciplinary Product team

(1-2 times onsite per week, will be required)

DURATION  – 29 August 2025 Option to extend

RATE   – SEK 665/hr (40 hrs per week)
